At Mythic Metalworks, we take pride in delivering quality welding, fabrication, repair, and restoration work. Because many of our services involve custom or made-to-order items, refunds are handled according to the terms below.
Refund Policy
1. Custom Fabrication Orders
Custom fabrication projects are not eligible for full refunds once any of the following occur:

Materials have been purchased
-
Cuts or fabrication work has begun
-
Custom designs, jigs, or templates have been created
A partial refund may be available only if no materials have been purchased and no work has begun.
2. Deposits
Unless otherwise stated:

Deposits are non-refundable once work begins or materials are purchased.

If the customer cancels before work begins, we may refund a portion of the deposit minus administrative or planning fees.
3. Standard Repairs
For non-custom repairs:

If the customer cancels before work starts → a refund may be issued minus inspection or diagnostic fees.

If work has already begun → refunds are not available for labor already performed.
If the item is beyond repair or unsafe to work on, we may refuse service and issue a refund for the unused portion of the payment.
4. Completed Work
We do not offer refunds on completed services, including:

Welding repairs
-
Custom fabrication
-
Restoration work
-
Modifications requested by the customer
However, if there is a defect in workmanship, we will evaluate and correct the issue in accordance with our warranty terms.
5. Materials Purchased for a Job
Once materials are ordered or cut, those costs are not refundable, even if the project is canceled, because suppliers often do not accept returns on custom-cut or specialty metals.
6. Customer Satisfaction & Corrections
If a customer is unsatisfied, Mythic Metalworks will:

Review the concern

Inspect the work
-
Provide reasonable corrections if the issue is related to workmanship
Refunds are not provided for:

Preference changes after approval
-
Miscommunication due to inaccurate customer-provided measurements or details
-
Wear, corrosion, or damage after pickup or installation
7. Turnaround Times & Delays
Estimated completion dates are not guaranteed.
Delays caused by suppliers, weather, design changes, or unforeseen issues do not qualify for refunds.
8. No Refunds for Third-Party Installation
We are not responsible for:

Damage caused during installation by someone else
-
Failures due to improper installation
-
Modifications after the work leaves our shop
No refunds will be given for these issues.
9. Digital Designs or Drawings
If Mythic Metalworks creates custom drawings, mockups, or digital designs:

Fees for design work are non-refundable once the design has been delivered.
